Pre-NCT Check & Repairs

The National Car Test (NCT) in Ireland is a roadworthiness test that all vehicles (every two years once a vehicle is 4 years old, and annually once a vehicle is 10 years old) must undergo in order to be allowed on public roads.

Prior to your car having its annual NCT, JP D'Arcy Car Care & Performance in Little Island can do a full check and, if necessary, carry out any repairs required to ensure it passes the test, the first time. Having this check and any repairs done saves you time and money, greatly reducing the likelihood of a retest.

We are also able to test your vehicle’s emissions, and if you book into the NCT centre just round the corner from our workshop, we can take your car for its test if required. Additionally, all our work is guaranteed for 12 months or 15,000km, whichever your vehicle gets to first.
